Get Credit Reports

The only way to be sure exactly what you owe is to get a copy of your three credGetit reports.

It's best to obtain them directly from the credit reporting firms rather than trust other third party firms. There have been cases of identity theft with these outfits so it's only prudent to not trust firms you don't know.

If you spot a debt on your report that you're not familiar with, immediately bring it to the attention of your lawyer. Call the phone number listed on the report to identify the source and amount of the debt.
